Sarah, thanks for your very graphic description of what it's like to stand in the middle of the madding crowd. I was laughing out loud! They call us cunts because they don't have one, or don't want the one they have. I consider it like being called a doodoo head by a 3 year old. The loudest group gets the attention but they usually are the ones without an arguement, just a high-hitched sound- barrier deafening squeal. It makes for more exciting TV coverage to have a purple haired, 1000 piercing, amped up, spit at the camera, than a calm, intelligent person explain that women deserve safe spaces and fair sports and by the way we don't have penises. For all of us fighting this fight, stay strong, stay diligent and convince one other person to stand with us and speak up.

It would be one thing if the left really believed the nonsense they spout but I am convinced they know better but are just pretending they are making sense. It is awesome to see some very young girls standing up for their rights. Their patents must be so proud!

Well technically, if coward coach Cheryl Reeves believes that men who perform women are actual women, then there are no men going in the female showers and changing rooms, now are there.

The YMCAs in US Democratic-led states pull the same switcheroo. Their official policy is that if a member goes into the female changing area or shower, that member is a woman. Which means the man I caught masturbating in the female shower in front of children wasn't actually violating the law because he was only jerking off with his female penis. Imagine being stupid enough to fall for this kind of nonsense. What exactly is going on inside the minds of YMCA staff and that cowardly coach?

(The ymca staff refused to report him to the police, even though they're required to by law as mandatory reporters. They also refused to give me his name so that I could report him. I called the police anyways, providing my name, telephone number, and the time I kicked him out of the female changing area so they could see who he was by looking at the security cameras in the hallway. I stated that I would come to court and help prosecute that despicable pedophile. He still hasn't been arrested. So either the YMCA staff deleted the video of him leaving the female shower, or my local police are too afraid of being fired for trying to arrest a woman who might have just been "vigorously washing her penis.")

You're right. We need more people joining this fight.

Wow just wow. And I agree. Reeves, like many others, think that simply humiliating themselves by saying absurd things on TV is the course of least resistance. That she'll at least sound like a kind inclusive, good person. But as you point out, the torturous mental twists she has to perform before that dreck exits her mouth are that magically males who enter female locker rooms, somehow, miraculously, impossibly, become female, and that they are indeed "vigorously washing her penis." As straight up insane as that is, many many people, professional, well educated people have followed this cognitive path to crazyville. I'd like to talk with you about your YMCA nightmare. I'm ignorant, unfortunately, about Substack and how we can privately cross this digital divide

Sarah, you can just click on her name, and a prompt will appear to send her a private message.

Thanks. I figured that out by poking at buttons like a monkey. My tech illiteracy makes me a public hazard

Yes. This is my concern as well when people cite surveys as showing that this is an 80:20 issue even among Democrats. Unless the questions are phrased carefully so as to clearly exclude “trans women,” a “yes” answer to a question like “should only women participate in women’s sports” is ambiguous.

Sarah Barker's avatar

In my Substack, I have taken to just using the word woman because I refuse to honor the idea that woman means anything other than adult human female. However, in a survey, as you point out, it's important to be clear that you are referring to females

I have attended -- and organized -- countless political demonstrations in my life, and never once have I worried for my safety.

But now I am.

I would be worried, as Sarah was, about my safety at a pro-women, pro-common-sense, pro-simplefuckingreality demonstration, because so many "trans allies" are violent. The Be Kind™ crew is often violent, as they have proven again and again and again and again and again at demonstrations all over the world, in every so-called developed country.

Sick, twisted, misogynistic MEN have always existed, will always exist, and will always be prone to violence, and now they have the added benefit of scores of "allies" -- including, I'm sorry to say, women -- to help them.

TRAs are nothing more than masked up bully boys. Their insane transmaids appear to be brain dead. Both are violent offensive and seem the only cohort in the western world that can shout death threats with impunity. Of course it probably helps its only against women. They are dangerous terrorists and yet no one including the police seem to think they need arresting.

Sarah Barker's avatar

Every word, this. And that came home to me in spades at that rally. Of course, violent threats are rampant on social media, but it's particularly disturbing when activists feel and in fact are completely comfortable hurling these same threats and vitriol in person, on TV news, with police calmly standing by as if it's nothing. And as I said, the media presents this as two equally valid "arguments." This is "problematic."

Living in Seattle is very much like navigating a live-action game of Operation, only the jolts come most often from other women. In the rare event when you can reasonably discuss men in women’s spaces (or any of the other sacred issues) it’s like watching that classic scene from The Three Amigos: “Gonna make it…gonna make it…gonnnnnnnna make it………not gonna make it. “

It’s hard for folks to get out of the cognitive bubble.

Every word you write is true and necessary, except for one error: you say, "Nearly everyone on this planet knows that men are not women and that women deserve their own things." Unfortunately, the trans madness proves that, for many, many people, women's rights don't matter at all. It's shocking. And unforgivable.

Sarah Barker's avatar

You're right. The first part of that I think is true--everyone in their hearts know men are not women. But the second part, no. It has become shockingly clear that there are many people who don't think women deserve their own things. Good catch

This is a great report on your real-life understanding of where the rubber meets the road, Sarah!

I really appreciate the reminder that we all have a duty to keep communicating with our political leaders.

A fringe minority yelling & screaming obscenities and illogical garbage seem to have bamboozled our leaders into passing policies & laws that undermine biological reality.

Social reality.

This turns out to be quite dangerous.

It undermines basic human rights - even for those for whom they are willing lie.

For example, female-born persons who self-identify as "boys" or "men" will also be victimized by male-born participants in female sports!

This type of "inclusion" - male inclusion - will exclude a "tr@ns" person of the female variety just as much as any other female person.

So, it's NOT about "tr@ns rights" at all.

It only serves the aggressive, intrusive male person.

And, yet, we see all kinds of women advocating for this malicious form of "inclusion," including (shockingly!) the head coaches of WNBA teams!!

MAIN POINT: "Politicized victimhood" must be carefully examined at all times. Scrutinized!!

Historically, for example, politicized victimhood worked extremely effectively on beleaguered German citizens following the Treaty of Versailles and we all know how THAT turned out.

Politicized victimhood becomes a powerful force amongst the masses who seek enragement but rarely want to think things through logically.

Now, THEY will claim that women and girls are claiming victim status in return.

This is a clash of rights, but the two sides are NOT equal.

Flat-earthers do NOT have an equivalent argument with those who acknowledge the earth is round.

Seeking female-only occupancy in realms designated for women and girls is NOT equivalent to men feeling victimized because they are not allowed to self-identify into trespassing that boundary.

It's time for women and girls to stop assuming that society will see through the flawed arguments of these men's rights activists.

We need the 80% to speak up.

THANK YOU, therefore, for writing and working the sidewalk on behalf of female athletes of all identities, Sarah!

Sarah Barker's avatar

Thanks Linda! Every bit of this is true. And I said exactly this, about the female category being inclusive and necessary for ALL females, including those who identify as men or nonbinary, to both reporters I spoke with at the rally. As I said, I'm not even sure they were actually recording, but in any case, my words did not end up on the news. People don't want to think this thing through because it;s uncomfortable. They are highly incentivized NOT to think it through, so they don't. Most people don't realize they've lost the right to free speech because they very much do not want to try it out, and see if they still have that right

I've run into the same problem in my attempts to start a lesbian club at my local college. College administrators denied the club. These bureaucrats are heavily indoctrinated. They think the category called lesbian is an opt-in group, which means men who perform woman and also want to screw women are lesbians, in their minds.

Obviously lesbian is a biological category, not a chosen identity group. But if you can convince people that a man is an "actual woman," you can convince them of anything.

I want to help young women accept themselves, show them that lesbians are not freaks of nature, they're a natural, normal part of human socio-sexual behavior. They said they're concerned I will radicalize young lesbians. I think they're radicalizing young lesbians by convincing them they aren't women so they should chop off their breasts and destroy their endocrine and reproductive systems.

They claimed my definition of the word lesbian, a female homosexual, constitutes harassment of other students. Unbelievable! Transgender ideology has disastrous effects throughout society, from athletics to showers to oppressing students and employees by demanding we give up the right to free speech on college campuses and our place of employment.

It's all just nuts now, when a fine young woman like Sophie Cunningham cannot mildly express her own opinion without these crazies demonstrating and carrying on. The Lynx coach might feel differently if the Fever showed up with a male seven-foot male player who proceeded to beat them soundly. Yes, I agree that the more the science and simple common sense is taking hold the louder and crazier the trans radicals become. Several years ago when the Wolf organization was formed and they published my own story, I had a lengthy phone call with one of them after I expressed my desire to be a part of the cause as a two-time Olympian but never heard back. Several years later I contacted them and asked why I was dropped and I was told I wasn't radical enough for them because I simply expressed that I had nothing against adult trans people living their own lives as long as they stayed out of women's sports and private spaces and was told that was "liberal" and not radical so I didn't pass muster. They are obviously part of the problem of crazy divisiveness with that approach and when they raised money to go to Washington and Democratic politicians would not meet with them that is what they deserve.

I hear you. In-fighting within the sex realist people is counter-productive

The transmaids of the MSM are biggest problem , more so than the transtapo who show up. I think the word "betrayal" should be the simple message.
