Sarah, have you or the young woman who was harassed by the trans Stasi contacted Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression to get their help? You may know them. They track, study, and fight for freedom of speech and could be a great resource in this case. They recently published a Substack essay arguing that the speech codes commonly used by colleges have trained a generation to thought-police neighbors, teachers, colleagues... "An Orwellian hell," as they characterize it.... I think FIRE would want to know about this instance of a media outlet attacking a citizen's right to express herself.

Most of the media are all aboard the "trans" train. They abdicated their journalistic responsibility long ago.

I used to be a journalist. Journalism has become a joke. The front page of the New York Times has some breaking news and the rest is lifestyle shit. Local papers are garbage. I'm involved in a local land use controversy and I told the reporter I could take her on a tour of the site. She canceled on me at the last minute and wrote her article without ever going to see what she was writing about. If I had done that at the community newspaper I worked at in the 1980s I would have been fired. You were only allowed to do phone reporting if you were on deadline or it was a very minor story.
