This is fantastic, restacked and shared on X. We screencapped pages of US headlines with not a single mention of male, men, boys. You’re absolutely right: the language makes the lie, and compliance isn’t courtesy but betrayal.
To whom you are attracted sexually is purely subjective and therefore cannot reasonably be contested by an outside observer.
Where you decide to live your life on a spectrum of superficial, stereotypical male to female attributes (and we all do) is also purely subjective and similarly cannot be questioned.
However, your biological sex reflects an objective reality which cannot be changed by your subjective personal view and futile attempts to do so can result in serious health impacts to you as well as harms to members of the sex you are impersonating (primarily women).
Others who are grounded in objective reality should never be forced to accept your subjective version of your actual biological sex.
Finally, it's past time for the LGB community to separate themselves from the trans activists who are trying to take away the rights of women to fairness in sports and to privacy and safety in their restrooms, locker rooms and prisons. They also advocate for the chemical and surgical mutilation of children many of whom would grow up gay.
Their actions are evil and the
understandable negative reaction to the harm they are causing is spilling over to innocent people who are just going about their business, marrying and leading their lives.
It’s so infuriating. The editors seem to think that is a rerun of gay marriage. So the remedy is to consider opponents as knuckle-dragging bigots who must be scorned at every opportunity.
They don’t care if their comment sections fill with opposing attitudes. They may turn off comments altogether or censor them. The WSJ is censoring big time: you cannot even mention Lia Thomas in a comment.
Even the liberal readers of the LA Times don’t approve of men in women’s sports, to judge by their comment section. Except for one reader who was busily replying to everyone else, calling everyone bigots and ignorant and hey, there’s hardly any trans women!, you anti-LGBT agitator.
You nailed it! It's absolutely infuriating, the overtly manipulative, misleading, and/or downright false ideological drivel that's being shoved down everyone's throats. I see it every day. Even on the local news here in the so-called conservative south. Years ago I abandoned NPR and PBS for information on anything. Now I'm giving up on msm news altogether.
So many people simply do not believe the news media anymore, especially the so-called legacy media. The media's obvious willingness to abandon any semblance of journalistic integrity and fact-based reporting in favor of ideological promotion and social engineering is a huge reason why.
Excellent article. I also question the force teaming of lesbians and bisexual women in this issue. Journalists and many others use Lesbians esp, as a shield to hide these males behind. Why would I a woman and a lesbian object to fair and safe sports for women and girls? That they blandly throw it out there as if we aren't in some way female is rage inducing. Anything to protect the marginalised males even if that does mean taking a crap on women and girls irrespective of our sexual orientation.
"It was never explained by craven people who identified as journalists that the lovely sounding “inclusion” was actually inclusion of males in female sports." lol
This is absolutely fantastic. You have a gift for revealing this scandal. Your simplified “30,000 foot view“, including how the media propagates the lie and is being used by the activists to manipulate society, will eventually help people like me (who have ignorant friends) explain that they have been manipulated and lied too. Bit by bit, simple statement by simple statement, we might get some people to eventually open their eyes to this grotesque nightmare. You help me form my thoughts. It really is so simple.
Once again Sarah you nailed it! Language has always been the driver of the fantasy. I don't even use the word trans anymore because you can't change your sex, so why add to the confusion. Let's hope that sanity prevails and conscientious journalists can once again report truthfully. Thank you for your hard work and attention to this!!!!!
Excellent line: "So a little bit of nut in a nut-free product is okay, right?"

Excellent writing, glistens with the strength of fact.
It’s sad that we have come to in so many ways having to do a mental twist to compensate for lax “journalism”
Handy: use Chat GPT to translate.
Me: Rewrite the following headline replacing any instance of phrases such as “ban on transgender” with the phrase like “supporting female”
Republicans push new federal ban on trans athletes.
Response: “Republicans push new federal policy supporting female-only athletic categories.”
Me: Same for
Judge Rejects Biden’s Title IX Rules, Scrapping Protections for Trans Students.
Response: “Judge Rejects Biden’s Title IX Rules, Supporting Protections for Female Students.”
Sarah Barker - my admiration grows with each article you write. Thank you.

Thank you Sarah for your clear-headed analysis. Brilliant as usual.

I always enjoy your astute analysis, comprehensive coverage and clear writing.
Ha! Journalism is dead! But I didn't get your messages
Deal!

THANK YOU, excellent piece
This is an extremely important article.
Such a clearly expressed argument, Sarah. Will the ‘legacy media’ be able to hear and find a moral compass? ….
